Discovering Tunisian Sud: day 3

In the morning we visited the spices marker in Douz's and then We left for Ksar Ghilane by Slim's Toyota
Ksar Ghilane is a little oasi, it is the Tunisian southest oasis. The oasis is near the doors of the Grand Oriental Erg

We stopped for a tea in a bar situated middle of the desert, the temp erature is 45° outside the car!

We arrived through sands track 100km long at Ksar Ghilane. The temperature was 50°!

The wind is so strong it was impossible to take the camera outside!
I plunged into the lake, the water was 37°!

I met Matteo and Caterina and theirs 5 dogs!

Matteo is a member of SMART Turism.
He is very nice! Matteo is a good driver and a rider. He is a Rally assistant by his truck. He give assistance during the Tunisia Rally .

In the evening wind has fallen so I photographed Aurelio on the little dunes around the oasis.
We had dinner in PanSea Village, we ate cus-cus and many tunisian specialities.
I spended a delightful evening with my new friends.

In the night, the wind became so strong that it was almost impossible to sleep in the tent!
